Skyscraper (take this Eoin!) is from Yokohama.
Temple is Kamakura, the island is Enoshima (they are all close).
And then a few characters from the Matsudo guest house and attempts in practicing with the Kendama.
I am sad to leave Tokyo but it s for the best.
I am heading north to Hokkaido tonight, where the fish is overwhelmingly delicious, they say.... will it be true? We ll find out in the next episode... tan tan taaaaaaaaaaann
a big hug to all!!!

Kon nichi wa.
The night views are actually from the terrace of an apartment where I went for a bbq> First I couldnt believe I could ahve a bbq in Tokyo on the concrete and second that the view was spectacular!! There s also a pict of the family who held the bbq at their place, very nice people.
Then there s Fujisan, but very disappointing the view from half way to the top. Full of souvenir shops and all. I think Fujisan is wonderful is seen from far away (impossible in this season cause its too humid). But I would like to go back to climb it overnight like one s supposed to. Maybe next time. Anyway you can see the nipple of Fuji san.
Then the day view are from another skyscraper. I love the buildin that looks like a rocket and... tan tan taaaaaan, its not finished yet, but almost!!

I am a bit pissed off cause there are a few things that I really want to do in Tokyo and I dont have anymore time, so I m thinking about spending the last weeks back in this region so I can come to do what I have to do. Like climbing the Fujisan properly

Eoin:
aaw these are the last skyscrapers for the moment cause soon I ll head to the countryside.
Dont worry, you will come here and see for yourself, it never ends. Ah if you do go to Tokyo you ll have to experience also the train rush hour otherwise its not fare on me!!!

Mick:
maybe i ll go to the studio in sept instead, so maybe I can speak a bit more japanese... its the best solution. But just to visit of course. Who would take me to animate anyway!!!!! Or would I go back to animation? mmmm eh eh

Sylvie e Enrico:

week 3

So! The pict are in random order so forgive me. Plus I cannot rotate them cause there isn t any program in this computer that allows me to do so. Sorry about that...

The big red and blue sign means "karaoke". So fun and so cheap, we were four and paid around 6 euro each for 2 and 1/2 hours. You dont pay by booth, its charged by person. At the end of each song the screen tells you how many calories you have lost by singing. This price also included a couple of non alcoholic drinks. Pop music here is as cheesy as they say and video are really funny!!

The view of parts of Tokyo are from one of the towers in Roppongi. Cool, isnt it? We were at the 52nd floor.
That was when I met Samuele and his friends from Yokohama.

The same day we were having lunch at the sushi bar (you can see my happy face) and in the evening we had loads of yaky- everything. Still overwhelmed by the food.

If you see people swimming in a river thats when the people from this guest house decided to have a bbq by the river nearby (where u see the big crowd of people) . You are not supposed to swim in that river but I understand the guys, we had between 35 to 40 degrees that day.

One more thing!! I mispelt "dodgey" in the last post. I wrote "doggy" instead. ok? ah ah

AH ! Today I reserved the ticket to Rankoshi(Hokkaido), I m going the 25th. I write an accurate e mail to Laura with the timetables and all.
Hope everything is fine there, how s the job hunting going?
Should I go to Ghibli Studio with my showreel? Ah ah ah ah

Ciaaaaaaaooo

week 3

Thanx for the advice Laura!! Ill try to rotate the pictures.
Tomorrow I am meeting Samuel. Help!
Mick: actually no scumbags. I swear it feels very safe here and I dont even have to keep my bag tight or watch out for doggy people. Feel very relaxed. Dunno about the night yet, I havent been out very late yet, maybe this week end.
But so far no scumbags. And it seems that people dont fear to be robbed or attacked.
Tim: food is so nice and cheap!! I usually spent from 4 to 7 euro for lunch even in a sushi place. Also, about the pictures, these are only a few areas of Tokyo, there s still plenty....
Fran: the perspective seems wrong cause its three different buildings...ah ah I need to rotate those bloody pictures.
Enrico e Sylvie: mangiato konomiyaki. Da sbavo!!! More suggestions for food? Viva l ape figa.
